Not sure how anyone could disagree with this.

No
COVID may have accelerated the inevitable but O was never going to last long, especially under this current landscape where roster management may be the most important thing coaches do now.
His guide to a successful program was co-written by a tubby fat arse morning radio show host. It was never going to end well because he was never suited or qualified for this job. There’s a reason a guy with a NC on his resume isn’t even getting sniffs for low level jobs, it’s because he’s a bad head coach/program manager and his career record without Burrow tells you this.
It’s amazing how many people have vitriol towards Les but still want to make excuses for Ed and his failures.

This right here. Les is 10x the coach O was

He got to the top, cashed in, and was content. That is why the program fell apart the next two years.
It wasn’t due to complacency. He caught lightening in a bottle due to being attached to two rocket ships no one saw coming, Burrow and Brady coming in to help unlock him and the offense.
Once those two and Dave departed it was on O to find replacements and rebuild, he failed. Not due to fricking young co-Ed’s, but because he was just incapable.

I think Coach O needs a statue but also think it was time to move on. However, I will be forever grateful for the greatest college football season in the history of the game. We owe him that.

Listened to most of the interview and Derek still works for O. Mentioned his name every 5 minutes. It’s wild how much influence that dude had on the program.

Yeah i think Les proved that screwing coeds doesnt have to get in the way of winning

There is a reason he was the worst coach in Ole Miss' history.

Coach O was an elite recruiter. We always had Top 5 classes with him. BK is not as good as O. BK averages like a 7th ranked class.
What a tard

We needed a good reminder of why Coach O is a buffoon.
Slobbering over Arch Manning, comparing him to Joe Burrow.
“But Arch is as close to - or maybe as good as - Joe as I’ve seen.”

Is Ponamsky his agent?
O is on Mostly Sports (Brandon Walker, T-Bob) right now and multiple times he mentioned Derek's name but they havent shown him on camera

Les also built OSU into a winner. O fell flat on his face in a much better situation at OM. A historic failure.
Could Les have won more titles here? Maybe. Did he drive me crazy with game management? Yes.
But anyone that thinks O is a better HC is fricking stupid.

Well Derek did use his website to help fuel the coup, they always knew Ed needed an in season firing and the interim job to have any kind of realistic shot at getting the full time job. His 411 articles took a huge turn as hit pieces on Les and the program once Ed came on board.
I still remember the bit Derek and Jordy did when we first hired him as DL coach, you would have thought Saban was coming home. I thought it was bizarre then…eventually made sense though.

They let him go 2 years after winning a national championship! I really don’t think any other school would have made that decision any quicker. Auburn fired Chizik during the 2nd year but he had just gone 3-9 the year before. Boosters would have rightfully been pissed if it had been any sooner and it would have been a major red flag for future coaches. It was clear after 2 years that it was time to make a change to almost every single booster/media outlet/future coach.

He wants to coach again. In other words he is out of money.

Tigerdroppings is weird man
You have zero fricking clue if this is true - but his tenure here didn’t end like yours did on Xbox (96-0 with 6 national championships) so you hate the guy and decide to make shite up about him to help justify your hate for the man
You don’t have to tell me I’m right, I already know
