Just gotta get that OL fixed, baw!

Forget that the OL Coach is directly under the purview of the OC! That's fake news, baw! Fake news!

Get some OL talent, give E 4-6 years to develop them and it'll be great, baw!

Also: forget about Alabama! Alabama doesn't matter! Can't beat Alabama, let's focus on beating Florida 50% of the time, maybe...

(Am I doing this right? Can someone paypal me the $ these shills get paid, please?)

He said that he would get the best coordinators available. He clearly has not

Technically he didn't lie. He got Canada (who was definitely the best choice at the time) and he had Canada.

They just couldn't get along so he hired a lifelong TE coach who didn't want the job.

No offensive coordinator worth his salt wants to come here because then it would mean that the o line will have to be reloaded with the right players for the right scheme...

He’d lose his job because rumors would fly that he just couldn’t reach his players...couldn’t train them...

Even though he has a long track record of being able to do just that at other schools in the past...

Because he supports the coaches and team and doesn't go with the herd on things he's a non LSU fan. I bet his post history shows that he's a better fan than you.

Nope. If you put any coach above the program, you are not a fan of the program.

This is starting to look very cult-like. Followers following blindly. Spouting of rhetoric and propaganda.

My only question. Can you hurry up and get to the Koolaid part of the cult?

That might be the most asinine thing I've read on this board.

I'm what's wrong at LSU? Really? I have no administrative authority and no power to change anything: what, exactly, have I done to contribute to things 'never changing?'

Can you also explain how my desire to see change, specifically because LSU is running the same dated ultra-conservative snoozefest offense they've been running since 2009, is in some way an indication that 'things will never change?'

The players need to change. Not the OC...

Our scheme is simple for a reason...and easy to predict for a reason and it’s not because the OC isn’t creative...

Blaming the OC is not the answer...

We need the right players to run the schemes that will confuse a Bama defense...and execute the plays as well...right now we don’t have those types of players...

It’s not always about how big or fast you are...

What's wrong with our players? They just play when they want to like Randy Moss? Are you calling them dumb? Are you saying they aren't disciplined? You think this makes O look better?

You're better off putting it on the OC.

You'll blame 18-22 year old kids rather than grow arse men? The same 18-22 year old kids that those grown men brought to LSU? Weak argument.

You make a statement without an answer. Scheme is too simple because... what? I'm pretty sure Canada used the Les Miles / Ensminger '16 playbook. The terminology hasn't changed. The verbiage hasn't changed. The nomenclature hasn't changed. There is no excuse for an offensive regression without the implementation of a new system. Terrible argument.

And which players are those? More importantly: who is supposed to get those players to come to LSU?

No. You find players. You train them over the course of the season and they become the players you need them to be, or you tailor a system around the talents they naturally possess. This is, by far, the weakest argument you've made.

quote:

Blaming the OC is not the answer...

One team has been shut out by Alabama this year: LSU. LSU is 104th in total offense.

Since 2017, LSU has...
Fallen to 104th in total offense, with 48 fewer yards per game compared to 2017.
LSU has fallen from 48th in 3rd down conversions to 96th in 3rd down conversions.
Fallen in points scored from 74th to 83rd.

Sometimes, when mistakes are made, it really is the OC and replacing them is the answer.

With the below average SEC line no OC would be able to do much here. Thanks to Miles who left us with 11 lineman instead of 17.

Really? so nobody has a chance to make any improvements at all? Our talent is so SOOO bad, no OC could make any improvements at all?

Wouldn't the lack of talent make it all the more important to bring a better OC in to offset? Unless you think SE is the best we can do...

Oh he didn’t lie??? What did he say? Oh and how many OC’s did he interview before making the hire?

You apologists are horrible. The guy has done well except for the OC part. Numbers don’t lie. We fired the last coach who did better on offense
BTW you won’t reply with anything but a lame insult

I love me some coach O. He's a great recruiter. I love having him as HC...

But he desperately needs to bring in a better OC
