The OP isn't wrong.

First, Alleva said he was going to hire a highly competent offensive coach. He proceeds to hire a DL coach to fix the offense.

Then, that DL coach says he'll hire the best OC available to run a spread offense. He instead hires Matt Canada to run a creative but conventional offense.

After a year, he runs Canada out of town and replaces him with Ensminger, who runs an uncreative but conventional offense.

The results speak for themselves.

If Orgeron sticks with this offense, there is no hope for 2019 and an extension would be a slap in the face to LSU fans.

E isn't the answer, I agree. Maybe he'll retire at season's end. Ultimately it fall on O. That being said, if you wanna win a game of football, do you wann run behind grown men or a bunch of 3rd graders? Maybe it was a 60 min aberration, but that was THE MOST pathetic O line performance I've seen in 30 yrs. Magee needs to find a seat. Brunfiekd getting healthy in time enough to play hurt us. He AND a Rb can't block one guy? A major overhaul and re-evaluation, sooner rather than later. If I'm O/cregg, I might sit 2 or 3 vs arky. in favor of someone else.

There are certain posters incapable of acknowledging facts like what the head coach promised. Nobody is making that up. It happened. They still deny it. They start threads dividing the fans when things are going great, they defend failure when it happens bc their loyalty to a coach is greater than their ability to be objective....but we are not true fans. The fans have been united for weeks. They still tried to divide us.

It's pathetic. You can't have an intelligent discussion with them. We lost. There are things lots of us were concerned about that came to fruition this weekend. There's a bigger picture lots of us are looking at yet they just don't see it and don't want to hear it. They're the kind of folks who hold this program back and that's a fact. Loser mentality instead of facing the challenge with a solution focused view. Let's just deflect criticism bc it's threatening and bury our head in the sand. Geaux Tigers. Hope and pray. This is what people need to understand. It’s not some obsession with Saban because he used to be our coach. You literally can’t win shite in this league without beating Bama. That is reality. Build a team that can beat Bama and rest falls into place.
