He said that prior to the last hire. That hire was the best by most people's standards. That hire didn't work out.

So he's not honoring his word. I thought that was the point of this entire thread?

Also, I enjoy how you post that strawman of Canada not working out, like that somehow justifies throwing a dude who hasn't been a full time OC since Bill Clinton's administration and just calling it a day.

Brandon actually struggled last yr at UNC. Not sure what the forecast is for this yr, though.

He was talking about Lane Kiffin. He didn’t get Kiffin so he panicked and hired someone that he reportedly spoke with once.

Ed is a shitty used car salesman

Ed wanted to hire Ensminger after Kiffin turned him down. Ed didn’t have the nuts to do it though so he hired the biggest name he could.

LOL! What was McMillan's 40 time again? Don't try to tell me he is dual threat.

Narcisse wasn’t a dual threat either to be fair

Again what is wrong with you. LSU in 2016 and 2017 was in no position to get “the best”. Our program was in complete disarray. The Miles firing and transition was handled very poorly. Actually you can go back to screwing up the Chavis contract. That killed our defensive recruiting. We are much better off today. But it as the beginning of the end

Please expound on this...

who are the Brennan’s? Are y’all just stupid kids that believe that some slow arse kid is going to be able to escape those Monster LBs in the SEC? No.
Money talks and bullshite walks. Brennan’s have a shite load of money and political pull in this state. The head coaching job at LSU is a political job. We saw that first hand when Jindal fricked up Miles firing.

How could they both have dropped out of the Top 2 if the plan was to redshirt Myles?

Both Burrow and Brennan are true passers, and look to be fierce competitors. Those are the two most important skill sets to compete in the SEC,

Could you elaborate on “true passer?” Seems vague and subjective. Someone else in this thread said McMillan wasn’t a dual threat. Are “true passers” statues like Mettenberger? What’s your criteria for “fierce competitors?” Not a transfer? Unless you’re on the team/staff, you know dick and have zero credibility in identifying competitors and can GFY.

Burrow is mobile, and Brennan is not as bad as Peyton Manning by any means in the mobility department

Great point coach. I bet his mobility isnt as bad as that of Tom Brady, Dan Marino, Joe Namath, or late career John Elway.

This is great news Barbel, I’d love to have a more mobile Peyton Manning on LSU’s squad.

Was wondering whether there was a link to what you say "O said he would tell them"?

Sure. A traditional pocket passer. Someone whose instinct, since their early playing days, has been to throw first and climb up in the pocket. Someone who has had to rely on a quick release and accuracy most and consistently. We've not had much success with dual threats.

Someone else in this thread said McMillan wasn’t a dual threat.

I'm not someone else.

I'm not saying Narcisse and McMillan aren't. I'm saying Brennan and Burrow are.

Literally the same response to you. The difference is I said Burrow and Brennan "look" to be fierce competitors--that's my opinion, and I didn't pass it off as expertise. You can GFY. PS: a "true passer" doesn't have to be a total statue like Mett. Burrow isn't.

Yea. So would I. Your point? I'm simply saying, in anticipation of those who sky scream all of this because McMillan and and Narcisse were mobile, that Brennan isn't a complete statue like Mett, so don't everybody lose their shite now.

You are very off point.
