I don’t think entering the 2nd week of fall camp could be considered “early”. Early would’ve at least given McMillan and his grad transfer status time to find a suitable transfer destination so he could use his immediate eligibility to try and win a starting job somewhere.
But that’s just me. Glad O is “honoring his word” to his players cuz he’s been lying to a bunch of other people too, the fans included.

I dont understand what you wanted him to tell them. You dont think he should have waited till they competed against Burrow to figure out the 2 deep?
Seriously? What could he have done earlier. They knew Burrow transferred here...and at that point, that's all there was to say.

He said that prior to the last hire. That hire was the best by most people's standards. That hire didn't work out.

I can’t control what happens or who supports him- but I am behind Coach O. I believe he- along with his staff- can bring us back to where we want and need to be.
On Sept 2, it will be the players taking the field against Miami- not the national media pundits.
