Probably so Roger. At least you would, since you really seem to be hung up on a passing game since this is twice in the last couple of days that you've whined about the LSU passing attack under Miles, all the while praising o and e for their new and improved passing attack.
Never mind the fact that the rushing game dropped into the 50's nationally (59 to be exact) this past year as opposed to #7 during Miles final full season.
And both season we lost 3 games. Imagine that.
It's almost like how you score points really doesn't matter, as long as you do it consistently.
frickING CRAZY MAN

I was just going to let him go on thinking that Etling sat behind Harris for 2+ years. It was more fun that way.
Good point.
But we're talking about p&g here. Even if he reads my post, he'll more than likely continue to believe that Etling sat behind Harris 2+ years.

So the offense couldnt seal the win with 1 1st down after the defense scored to tie the game. Made the defense punt and then made a&m turn the ball over on downs? The offense didnt have ro score to winn youre right. All they needed was a 1st down. Thats even worse
C'mon Ricky, that's a mischaracterization by omission. In between the defensive score was a 76 yard TD drive by the offense to take the lead. Yes, one 1st down could have ended the game, but they forced A&M to burn all their timeouts and giving A&M the ball on their 22 with no timeouts and 83 seconds I would be confident the D could stop Kellen Mond from driving 78 yards for a tying TD. How they were able to get 12 plays off in that time was ridiculous. I mean it's Mond not Tua.
Both sides of the ball failed in the end.

Earl, if you weren't on this frickin witch hunt you would see I've already criticized the rushing game many times.

Well at least he hasn't told us anymore about his balls.

Yeah, a one dimensional offense isn't going to score many points.

Only more than LSU's 2018 offense.

We were missing 2 CBS. We have no passing game that involves quick catch and run passes that are 90% completions.
The defense was down 4 starters i think.

Here's the irony. In the 2012 Chick-Fil-A Bowl LSU has the lead and is trying to run the clock out. Miles decides to throw the ball with a struggling Mett and ends up with an incompletion and allowing Clemson to get the ball back and drive for the winning FG. Mett threw for 120yds that game. He wasn't hot. Hill was averaging 10 YPC and we stopped feeding him the ball. He had 124 yards on 12 carries.
So in this case Miles should have been more conservative.
VS A&M our D was playing lights out in the 2nd half. They were relatively fresh. Based on how the 2nd half was trending it was a logical calculation to run on 3rd and if they don't get it hand it over to a D that was dominating the 2nd half.
I don't blame Aranda either. It took some crazy circumstances for A&M to pull off that drive.

Never claimed different brother. Im just saying yes the offense had a chance to win the game against a&m.
The defense held a&m to its loweest yardage and second lowest 1st down total all year. The defense had to score to tie the game.
The last 4 possessions before the final drive the defense scored a td, made a&m punt twice and made them turn over on downs. The last 4 possessions for the offense was 3 punts(3 3and outs) and a score.
The defense has to be perfect so that the offense doesnt have to be even average.

You realize that in your scenario the only ironic part is the notion that Miles taking the ball out of Hill's hands was a mistake, but Orgeron taking the ball out of Burrow's against aTm wasn't, right?

In no way was miles running the program into the ground.
Posted on 2/21/19 at 4:05 pm to OTIS2
At the very least O has stopped the decline and is maintaining recruiting at a Miles level. There's been no dropoff in any way from Miles to Orgeron. We want more than that. That's reasonable. maybe Brady is the guy to deliver on offense, we'll srr. But for Miles' last few seasons there was a real sense of a precipitous drop looming around the corner. That's gone. There is reason for optimism.
