When he called you out as the “fake objective poster” he gave himself away. Dude as a hard on for you for some reason.

I don't mind I'm just as much to blame. We had a lot of back and forth about Coach O after the '17 season when I was disappointed and then it carried over after that. I have some fun with it so it's just kept going on and on and on. I suspect that may also be Space Cowboy and that's where the animosity comes from.

Comparing them to other LSU QBs doesn't make them "far beyond" average when discussing college quarterbacks.

I agree. I believe the discussion was centering around QBs under Orgeron's offense vs Miles so that's why I compared only LSU QBs. Only Mett's 2013 season was what could be considered a well above average season but I wouldn't say it was exceptional. I had to go back to Flynn's 2007 to find another "good" QB season and you had to add in Perrilloux's numbers to get a solid passing offense.

Even though I'm still concerned with SE as a play caller, I believe fans will be happy with the increase in passing production/efficiency in 2019. Better personnel and experience and maybe Brady can get the RPO working.

Miles had run the program down to the point that winning 10 games was the highest possible achievement. Orgeron "appears" to have moved the team into a position that 10 wins is the norm

and letting our offensive and defensive line talent langui

Miles left more nfl talent on the online in 2016 than Clemson has had since 2008.
The dline and oline were littered with 4 and 5 star players. You can look this shite up.

His first real class was ranked about 15th, but it was well balanced

No it wasnt.

Orgeron's first three years look a lot better than Miles' last thre

How?

Miles' last years were 10-3, 8-4, 9-3 (three really bad embarrassing losses), and 2-2 when he was finally fired. And Miles' classes, while ranked fairly high, left whole position groups neglected.

10 wins
8 wins
10 wins with mcnees because miles didnt lose ooc home games.

Name these whole position groups please.

That 2-2 was ugly,

Two teams that finished top 10 and lost on the last possession.

He's turned out at least OK

Ok got the last coach fired but here you have people saying he is crushing it.

For LSU standards it was exceptional. Very.

I believe 2013-2014 are similar to 2018-2019. I expect a better offense than 2014 though.

You would know about utterly fabricated bullshite. Les isn't coming back and he was running the program into the ground.

Then O is running the program into the ground Ben.
We are still losing to bama.
We are still losing to multiple teams with less talent( both with 1st year coaches)
We still have a shite offense.

The fact that you label the same win loss numbers AND WORSE OFFENSIVE PRODUCTION as not runnung the program into the ground shows your bias.

No. Losing 5 of 9 which included three straight got the last coach fired.

The posters here can’t see the forest for the trees. The overarching problem in the latter part of Miles’ tenure was his offense

2 of the miles last 3 seasons had more productive offenses than anything o has had.

quote:

Everyone knew what, when, where, and how Miles was going with his offense

Yeah of only miles had an offense that Southeastern and la tech could shut down. If only miles couldve had an offense that had less than 400 yards of offense in 7 games.

He was right for 9-10 games each seaso

Except for all those seasons above 9 10 wins.

I meannif He was doing better than 10-3
10-3 8-5 before that I dont Think 5/9 really matters.

5/9 gave Alleva the poet he needed to fire him, but the seat was getting plenty after probably that Arkansas loss.

The perception was always that Les was holding the team back with his coaching.

Until we lost to Troy then it was Les left O a steaming pile of shite and we were rebuilding

Yeah, and four months ago LSU was "guaranteed" to have a top three class by some of you clowns. It's February 2019 and you're bragging about the 2020 recruiting class ranking.

He also said O had shored up the lines with the 2018 class and our wrs would be the strength of the team.

Two of LSU's last three offenses under Miles scored more PPG than 2018 did.

So, again, actual production be damned.

Facts carry no weight when discussing the 2018 offense
