Thanks buddy. Just lower back strain

It sucks. One of the worst pains I've ever had was a lower back strain from swinging a softball bat. I couldn't walk. Really screwed me up.

2018 Burrow: TD/INT 16/5; YDS 2894

To be fair...

We threw 13/17 TDS vs 4 teams. That’s 4 TD in 9 other games We thre 45% of our yards in 4 games. ..

We didnt throw td pass for a month.

You get your sense of self worth and dignity from here, so yeah you should read every post. It can be detrimental to your sense of self worth and dignity if you dont.

Even though I'm still concerned with SE as a play caller, I believe fans will be happy with the increase in passing production/efficiency in 2019. Better personnel and experience and maybe Brady can get the RPO working.

This is the problem IMO. We shouldn't care how the offense scores points, as long as it does so consistently against all competition.

Personally, I don't care if LSU is throwing for 50 TDs or 20 TDs, as long as they're a threat to every defense on the schedule.

Are we gonna pretend there is still not a LARGE percentage of our cosmopolitan fan base that thinks Flynn was a better QB than Russell merely because we won the title in 2007 and not 2006? How many times have we had idiots on here blame Russell for the 2 losses on the road to Top 5 teams in 2006, and then suggest that the 2007 title is due to Flynn while ignoring the two separate losses to far worse teams while ranked #1 in the nation...and needing Perriloux to even get us back to the #2 slot in the SECCG?

Or they say he arm strength but wasnt accurate when he has the best singke season completion % in lsu history

For LSU standards it was exceptional. Very. I believe 2013-2014 are similar to 2018-2019. I expect a better offense than 2014 though.

Correct, but that's the tragedy. The bar on QB play at LSU is pretty darn low. I'm confident Burrow surpasses Mett's 2013 numbers but in the end the biggest factors I'm looking at will be 3rd down efficiency and red zone efficiency. If those two figures take a significant jump in 2019 we will be a very tough team to beat.

Same here. RZ efficiency has to improve.

I'm guessing it will with the addition of a weapon like Emery.

And hopefully Pettigrew will be weapon as well in the redzone. He looks like a matchup nightmare anywhere on the field and I'm really interested to see if we get him involved.

Yep.

Gotta use all your weapons this year. We have plenty to use.

Again, if we can't see the needle move, Orgeron will lose a lot of support.

Im not and have never been a Duke fan. If i had to pick a team from Tri City it would be the wolfpack. Cant stand Duke BB fans. To this day owning Redick in the tourney gave me material for some old friends. Duke BB fans are the equivalent of Bama football fans just smarter and more pompous.

Yep. You start talking about putting Marshall, Chase, Emery and Pettigrew out there on the field at the same time and that's some serious play making ability.

No. Losing 5 of 9 which included three straight got the last coach fired.

Nope. Thats your proven football ignorant opinion. Facts say 3- 4 losses a year and a more productive offense than what o has put out got him fired.

It was an obvious issue. As I mentioned later, red zone efficiency needs to improve. It was poor under SE and Canada. I don't know the numbers, but would guess it was worse in 2018. Guice and Williams accounted for 20 TDs rushing and their ability as inside runners gives you a better opportunity to grind out the tough yards inside the 20. Neither Brossette or CEH could provide that.

10-3 8-5 before that I dont Think 5/9 really matters.

5/9 gave Alleva the poet he needed to fire him, but the seat was getting plenty after probably that Arkansas loss.

The perception was always that Les was holding the team back with his coaching.

Until we lost to Troy then it was Les left O a steaming pile of shite and we were rebuildin

Exactly. If 2014 was an 11 or 12 win season the 5 of 9 doesnt get him fired.

Losing 3 straight will put any coach on the hot seat. Even Orgeron this year.

But not making the changes necessary to compete in 2016 was the final nail.

You think Miles was fired based solely on a 9 game stretch?
