No sir. He is a bad head coach but awesome d line coach. Just ask Warren Sap what kind of coach he is. And nobody can doubt how great of a recruiter he is. Hell, just having him around for stories is worth it.
And when he did get fired, handled it with class and had no hard feelings. Of course a lot of money for leaving helps out.

Not sure why people have a problem with this, it's basically a zero risk hire. It can only really help the program.

Nobody is getting demoted, and I doubt O has much to do with coaching, they just have to give him a “coaching” position so he can recruit.
