Assuming there are certain bonuses tied into his contract. Maybe some incentives to keep highly-recruited players on the team year over year, recruiting rankings, etc..

This is like Saban hiring former head coaches to work as consultants. It’s not that big of deal and I doubt O will have much responsibility other than being around the team again
