Then it should be easy to link them saying this.

We'll all wait with baited breath...

I don't deny that I was pissed when he was hired and probably said all kinds of outlandish stuff about him. But, he has done some really good things with the roster and has identified problem areas on the staff, so until we see how those changes turn out, I'm willing to wait and see what's going to happen even though I'm skeptical.

My issues with the past are more about the excuses than the events themselves.

Neither have ever said this and frankly, there ought to be a rule whereby when you claim with 100% certainty that a poster said a thing and you can't back it up you're shown the fricking door.

Quit being a titty baby and getting your panties knotted up because someone got called out or false accusations were made against someone. It happens ALL of the time on this site. You've been around long enough to know that.

Your response to the below post in regards to Lunatik is correct in that he has been a positive Tiger fan but very critical of O. I have never seen him post any thing about wanting LSU to lose and fail, in fact he would be the first to post he was wrong about O if the Tigers get into the Playoffs this year.

Wow. Thank you for paying attention. I appreciate the kind words.

I'm not suggesting it...I'm flat out saying it. At least we scored and crossed the 50 a few times against Troy and didn't have Saban dragging his nuts across our faces on the biggest national stage in front of the whole world. You think people from other fan bases are really gonna care about the Troy loss in a few years? But I betcha no one will ever forget what Bama did to this program on that night

Wow, this post is staggering. What an insecure losers mentality

I only hold posters to the same standard I hold myself. I don't make up things and put words in others' mouths. I don't knowingly strawman anyone, and have on many occasions admitted when I had accidentally done that if I misrepresented a poster's opinion. And that's an easy thing for me to do, because if I did it and am shown my mistake I'm happy to admit it...because it was not my intention to put words in their mouth.

Truth is, it's EASY not to do that on here, but it requires being an honest player. I love arguing, but I'm not going to lie in order to "win" and argument any more than I'd cheat to win a game. If you have to do that, you've already admitted you feel as though you're not up to defeating the person you're dealing with.

I don’t hate coach O, but I am disappointed that he took a talented LSU team, played our weakest schedule in 20 yrs, and suffered 4 L’s 2 of which were highly embarrassing.

I have expectations for LSU football and 4 L seasons doesn’t meet my expectations. It’s as simple as that.

Nor mine....and if he continues this trend, he won't be here long.

but he's here now so I refuse to NOT support him.

Bama was coming off sanctions, this has been covered ad nauseaum.

Clemson about Syracuse

Starting QB was hurt, and Syracuse is a P5 team in their conference, not a mid-major. Pretty sure they had LSU on the ropes in tiger stadium so may not want to use them as an example, hoss.

It's a valid comparison.

It is not valid in the least. Difference here is if O succeeds everyone will support him, hell they already have at certain intervals. It wasn't personal, it was more that we didn't get Herman or Jimbo, so O was a big, big letdown. No one wants him to fail really. We just know he is not a good coach and he meddles in things he shouldn't, which sounds like a former head coach who we already let go who was better overall than the current one we have.

Liberals will die before admitting Trump is a good president. All we want is to win. Big difference and not grounded in political bullshite. Most of us just realize that with Joe and O that ain't gonna happen.

I support the team.

You seem to care more about who is in charge, considering your vitriolic posts about the man O replaced.

You're making excuses is all your doing. Programs of that caliber should never lose to teams like the ones I mentioned....or so I've been told.

That point has been made on this site ad nauseum about O and the Tigers. These 3 schools don't get a pass either. Sorry!

Anything under 9-3 would be a disappointment

glad you were able to answer

some posters (you know who you are) are too afraid to respond because they could be accused of actually holding O accountable for something.

I've made it clear several times I didn't want O....just like I didn't want Miles when he was hired either. I supported Miles until he lost his nuts somewhere along the line....particularly after 1/9....and then it was time for him to go. His last few seasons were equally as bad as O's first...particularly when looking at the most important metric....losing to Bama.
If Mett hadn't literally fallen into his lap. that '13 10-win season wouldn't have even been that good. Thank god Mett wasn't developed and brought along by that staff.

So to respond to your proposition, I don't care who is in charge as along as they don't squander talent and underachieve.

It’s funny. I think of you O sycophants as being like progressives. You’re all for giving people something that they don’t deserve (i.e.,the LSU coaching job being handed to O and his shitty resume), and you let your feelings control you ( give him a chance, hope, etc.).

So much truth in one post.

Agreed. The mental gymnastics used to explain away every criticism of him reeks of insecurity. Deflecting blame to the players, Canada, Les, Ole Miss, etc. for his failures doesn't make Orgeron a better coach. Winning championships will though.

It's okay to believe in what Orgeron is doing and still acknowledge he's screwed some things up. Just like it's okay for doubters to admit he's done some positive things. Neither side should lend itself to questions about one's support of the program.

Distinguishing your shitty examples = excuses?

Why don’t you find a better example.

According to you, since app state beat Michigan, and Lloyd Carr resigned at the end of the season, then O should have resigned at the end of the season hotshot.
