That’s a pretty drastic and radical treatment for a couple with three kids, a couple that eloped after two months, and a couple who just two years ago were on the verge of losing each other to the point one told the other she had to survive because he and the boys, “can’t do life without you” don’t you think?

Because this forum is what is called a “chat room” and people come here to chat, speculate and have an opinion. Others have the option to click on the thread and scroll down if they choose. Why else would anybody be here? All of BR is thinking the same thing.

The way the captioned is styled is unique to divorce cases. Leads me to believe this is amicable and everything has already been decided.
The only benefit of filing in the middle of your required separation time is that once you hit 6 months you can go back an amend the petition for an immediate divorce. So technically, they could be divorced about a month faster than the way the current petition allows for. I do not know if this is the case or not, but people that do this are usually in a rush to get a divorce due to having a new partner. Of course, it could simply be just how they filed it and no big deal.

From what I'm hearing she has had a problem with pill popping/drinking and Coach O had been urging & encouraging her to get treatment, but nothing changed so he filed.

Yea, the most likely scenario is that the guys with all the newfound success, National fame, and millions more $$$$ who has also been jetting all over the country got cheated ON.
I love coach O but cmon, by FAR the most likely scenario if one of them was unfaithful is the he cheated on her.

I think the more sensible reason, without really knowing any details, is that they have different lives. He's all about the job and she's doing....whatever.

I saw him right after posting this, TD Link but it was more or less an afterthought at the time. I just remember she was about 25 years younger and much better looking than his wife, like, a Lakers Girl cheerleader. He was smiling bigly, too.

Hope their kids get through this. From a recruiting standpoint, definitely will be harder to have that “family” atmosphere that has been so successful for recruiting when his family is in shambles. Moms of recruits will not be impressed if it comes out he cheated on her. He takes a big character and credibility hit if that’s the case. There is no upside to this for anyone. Best scenario for everyone would be a sincere reconciliation if that is possible.
