If Coach O were to win a National Championship is it written in his contract we make him the top paid head coach in the SEC?

I'd love to be a rich Tiger TAF member and lobby to write the Excel algorithm for HC Performance contract. This 4-10M/yr bullshite would cease, I garontee that.

He'd have started at 1.25M and work from there.

Well, this IS the rant.

So if you go by what you read here, LSU is going downhill from here and will NEVER win another meaningful game as long as O is coach.

Talent wins and not coaching.

The Rant. The best place for LSU fans to hate LSU

Good luck with that.

Not going to happen with O, so don't waste too many brain cells. He will be completely unprepared for, at least, 1 or 2 games a season, just like Miles.

It doesn’t really matter because O will not win a national championship

I don't think so, but here is a link to his contract. There is definitely post-season incentive compensation.

There is also regular season compensation, in particular for 10 REGULAR SEASON victories, which I think is funny considering how the O sycophants are masturbating over 10 wins (which would include a hoped for bowl victory).

Edit: total, post-season victory compensation would equal $1.1 million, but that would include winning the natty.

O is the only Coach to make the Worst Coaching Hires Top 20 List for the past 65 yrs...he made it twice.

He has no qualifications and is not the Visionary Offensive Minded Coach we were promised to replace Miles.

Talent does not win. LSU has had top 5 Talent Composite for 5 yrs and barely made the Top 20. Coaching/QBs/Offense wins.

You can choose to be a homer, Rantard "posi-tiger", and back Alleva and his Clusterfrick coaching hires that followed him from Duke. Two winless Coaches and a scandal. Or you can look objectively and analytically and advocate for what is best for LSU.

After 16 seasons under the leadership of first, Nick Saban and then Les Miles LSU briefly returned to national prominence. LSU may have given all of that back with the hiring of Orgeron. His top qualifications for the job seem to have been he was interested, he was available and he’s from Louisiana."

In reality, the criticism aimed at "O' is really just a shot at LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva who "rushed to hire a man with no other offers and a career 3-21 SEC coaching record."

We bought an insurance policy in the event this happens. The premium for this is $1.99 a year.

If he's the only one to make it, how did they get 20?

This is so damn stupid! What the hell is Alleva thinking?

If O we're to grab 3 NCs, he's still not worth 11 mil a year. That's absolutely insane!

Nobody wants to pay these outrageous salaries buts it’s just what you have to do or fall behind. It’s not like we don’t have the money

500k per SEC win, 250-750k for Marquee OOC game, 250-750k for Bowl game, 1M for SEC championship win and 1.5m per playoff game win. If you lose to a cupcake you pay the school you lost to.

Example for this year
6-2 SEC = 3m
250k for BYU
-1m for losing to Troy
Total = 2.25m, 3m with bowl win

If you go 8-0 in SEC and go all the way you're looking at 8m
