Not only is it core, but it’s upper core. I’ve fricked up an oblique before and it was hurting basically right below my chest muscles. Guy doesn’t know wtf he’s talking about

Obliqes run all the way from the chest down to the hips, so there's that.
But whatever, carry on.

significant injury to his lower body
This is vague like an NHL injury report: [Upper/Lower] body, two weeks.

Other sports are usually more forthcoming with details

I’m thinking they still haven’t determined whether he needs surgery.

Agreed. They’re hoping it heals and doesn’t need surgery. Thus, no one knows the status at this point. Still in a “wait and see” period

If it does end up needing surgery, he’s obviously done for the year

This fricking sucks. Not even for our season. This season is over anyway.

It sucks for MB. He looked fricking great the last 2 games. I hope he can stay healthy next year. I also would hope he gets an option for another year of eligibility if he needs it. Dude has serious potential to be a great NFL qb.

If it was significant, figure we would have heard what is wrong, by now.

....Brennan's a good QB but IMO he always looked kind of fragile to me.

If we're going to treat this season as exhibition only it' time to play as many freshman as possible

Told you last week it’s his hip. He’s out and Max starts. They both play . 2020 just keeps on giving.

If it’s a significant injury I would assume he isn’t playing the rest of the year

My question is why would O say “questionable” and that “they expected him to practice this week but he is healing slower than it was expected” if he has a “significant” lower body injury?

O is usually transparent to a fault with the media so I’m trying to figure out why he’d make such a contradictory statement?

If it’s significant, why not just call him out for the foreseeable future? If he really is questionable, which means there is a chance that he will play this week and imo usual means that a player is probable for the following week, then why say the injury is significant?

The whole situation seems strange to me.
