Best Stop and Don's were a consistent stop on my trip to and from Houston (From Mandeville) when I was still dating/engaged to Mrs.Semjase. (BS on the way there off I-10 west and D's on the way back off I-10 east)
Boudoin from Best Stop, Hamburger & BBQ Beef po-boys from Bear's in Covington and LSU football/basketball are the only things I miss about Louisiana.

Not sure if I should ask, but what is chicken crackling? Is it similar to pork rinds? I normally don't eat that, but I'm sure some people love it.
