Why would Vandy win the tournament if the runner scored? Is the champion determined by run differential for the whole tournament in the even two teams have similar records?

Love that kid. He gets that cocky little smirk on his face at times (kinda Burrow'esque). Some people collapse under the pressure, but Guidry seems to thrive on it.

Correct. Champion determined by Run differential over entire tournament if clubs have same record.
However, to be fair, LSU was one run up so could not have lost on one run but would have tied. However, motivational genius move.

A lot of Tiger fans got on the Wake player after he stated that when their reliever Cam Minacci took the mound it was “game over”.

I still don’t know how he struck out the final out of cws. After getting the second strike I remember him looking at dug out and smirking. If I was in that situation pitch 3 would’ve been airmailed, instead Guidry throws strike 3 to win the ship.
