Honestly the hater’s fan cards need to be revoked for a season or more. This season is already a success no matter what happens next. We are in really good hands for the foreseeable future

He does a great job of promoting the players - at every interview, he names several of them, touting some combination of what they did today, this season, talent, work ethic, etc. And he’s sincere about it.

I'm still kinda high from 3 seasons ago how he handled our pitching.

He is a hell of a coach.

And like he would say, an even better human being.

Jay never stopped believing in his players and neither did they. That's all that matters.

We have a lot of knee-jerk reaction fans who haven't been around long enough to know LSU's history of late-season heroics and improbable comebacks. For them, the first drop of rain means the sky is falling.

True Tiger fans support the team and coaches even in rough times.

Btw he said he's coach for 24 years and never seen that call, yeah me neither coach.

Probably because it was BS

I think he is intelligent , calm and really loves baseball . He represents LSU really well , just like Manieri and Bertman did . I think he can coach , too ! I think he’s gonna love it here in Louisiana !!

This is what makes him different than guys like Vitello he excels in the mental part of baseball. You hear quotes from players talk about not letting the moment get to big, stay within yourself and don't try and do too much, etc. You even heard it in his presser after the Tenner game he said this is where he excels in getting the TEAM to play to its potential and in fact he has shown when it matters most Jay Johnson gets it done. Now LFG!!!
