What you don't think Underwood would want to play for Biff?

Don’t want anything to do with Underwood. He can have fun throwing for 120 yards a game up there in Michigan.

Exactly. Dude’s deal was $3mil larger with Michigan than LSU.

Nobody on this board would pass that up. Not even if they were born inside Tiger Stadium.

dont think people on this board even realize he was pretty damn bad this year.
on a team that had no offensive identity l, no skilled players, and a head coach that was a head scratcher when he got the job in the first place.

Kids get better.

I don't hold anything against him. He attended many games on his own and him and his family were genuinely LSU fans and interested in coming. It sucks that it changed at the 11th Hour but it was life-changing money coming from a school 30 minutes away from his home.
The portal giveth and the portal taketh away and sometimes it giveth back.

9 TDs
6 INTs

Didn't exactly set the college football world on fire.

Nope. Only if he wants to come to LSU with no NIL money. He had his chance.

I dont think i got to watch him all year. What was bad? His accuracy? Decisions? All the above?

Looking at his stats, they don’t look too terribly bad for a freshman quarterback. 60% completion %, 14 TDs (5 were rushing), 6 Ints, averaged over 4 yards / carry.

Not making a case for him, was just curious.

We'd at least let him throw it. Might not complete it to our team as much as we'd like but he'd get to throw.

The side of the barn is safe from Underwood.
I wonder what happened at Michigan. His accuracy was superb in high school, if I recall correctly. One of his highlights on scouting reports was how polished he was, coming out of high school.

My opinion….he never looked comfortable at UM. They tried to take as much pressure as they could off of him by running it so much that it actually hurt his ability to find a groove in games. He always seemed like a square peg in a round hole in the offense.

If we're spending big $ on a QB, shouldn't we actually go after a QB?

Kiffin could also do great things with Drew Mestemaker of North Texas. (And he's not a grossly overpaid millionaire Primadonna)
