Why wouldn’t they show up jacked?

“ The Tigers went 7-6 this season, ending the year with a loss in the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl to the Penn State Nittany Lions.”

I think LSU will be OK in this one.

Alot of downvotes here and can see what you mean but im just not sure they got the players to beat ours. They are going to be a rough first game cause they play good defense.

Don’t care what the spread is. Dabo is still a good coach and they shouldn’t be taken lightly.

They can definitely waltz into BR and steal a win.

Well, we're a 7-6 football team, breaking in a new quarterback AND a new head coach, and their lame duck guy still has more skins on the wall than our new guy. So there's that

But honestly, I expect that there's a lot of internal pressure for Dabo and his players to shut up and perform. They'd declined pretty heavily, responded with an 11-2 season and a playoff berth where they hung in on the road against Texas, and entered last season as a Top 5 team "with 6 potential 1st rd draft picks"...
And went 7-6. Including losing Pinstripe Bowl game to 7-6 Penn State. You might say the game was meaningless, but Clemson had Dabo while Penn State had already fired Franklin and was on an interim guy. Both sides had heavy opt-outs, and the season was disappointing for both; so that part was equal. You'd have thought having Dabo would have made a difference, but Penn State dominated. That's really not a good sign.

They are fatigued with the Dabo experience at the moment. While I could see Dabo turning that ship around back into a respectable program, I can forgive their fans for not being jacked up 2 months out. They are trending in the wrong direction, and they certainly feel that.

What a stupid post! The game is two months away so you'd expect them (whoever that is) to be anything other than quiet.

Of course they're going to be jacked. Jacked doesn't win games. They won't be intimidated by Tiger Stadium. They are going to fight like hell. You wouldn't expect anything less.

This is not a gimme.

I wasn't buying them last year and I'm surely not this year. I would be VERY disappointed if we don't beat them fairly convincingly.

Of course our QB still might be a bit rusty and lacking in reps, that kinda worries me.
