That little wahoo thing in their song is strange, but I sat in the middle of their section 145 in a sea of orange and no one ever said a cross word or dirty look with me. We didn’t always agree on all the calls, etc, and they were fired up and some of them were slightly obnoxious when they had 10 point lead but no worse than you would expect, They even shaked hands with me in 4th quarter and said congrats.

I didn’t see any fights or even yelling between the fan groups, and before game we are all united in just trying to get into building and generally where I was helping each other out.

I wasn’t on bourbon street, but the bars where I was everyone was pleasant and getting along fine. I have no complaints with them and would put them in the “good egg” or friendly fans list

I completely agree. Many of the fans came up to me shaking my hand saying we deserved it and congrats on the win.

My favorite was one guy came up and said he was just proud they had a chance to play against and watch one of the greatest seasons in college football. Then he said if there's anything be can both agree on is F*** Bama haha. Gained alot of respect from them after that.

I must have talked to 30-40 Clemson fans this past weekend in NO and they are all were having a great time and getting along w LSU fans.

But not surprising after the loss, idiots are coming out of the woodworks claiming they were mistreated, abused, and urinated on.

I got along with a lot of Clemson fans, before and after the game.

You could tell that they really wanted to win the game, but that it was our destiny and they'd be returning the same team next year for another shot.

I hung out with a couple for a few hours and they told us they were shocked how nice we were.

I was in a mixed section and everyone was getting along.

The tigernet threads are nuts

I live in SC and have many friends who are Clemson fans. Almost all of them have been gracious in defeat. Most Gamecock fans have been totally rejoicing in the LSU win and have said “Thanks for kicking their arse!”
I’m enjoying driving around in my truck with LSU/GEAUX TIGERS stickers and car flags flying! IT’S A BEAUTIFUL WEEK IN SC!

The TigerNet threads must be their lunatic fringe. Hard to believe some of them were even in New Orleans.

The ones I interacted with before and after the game were quite complimentary of our team and fans.

Wait!
They were interacting with LSU fans and nothing happened???
That is interesting, because my understanding (based on the Clemson boards) is that not a single Clemson-LSU fan interaction was friendly or positive.

Meh. The shite people say to and about each other anonymously on these message boards is nothing like how they act towards each other in person. You can’t take any of this shite here seriously. 65% of it is trolling and 95% of it is by people who don’t know what the frick they are talking about.

Change that section # to 645 and you would have had a totally different experience.

This applies to almost all sports. The nice (expensive) seats prices out the trash.

Yeah all my interactions with them were pleasant. Seemed like any other SEC school.

Same experience we had - all very nice, respectful people. We even shared a table at a bar on Tuesday night with a nice Clemson couple that also stayed over until Wednesday. We were talking to them while they were sitting next to us and they ended up just joining us. I heard lots of reports on how much they loved having the game in NOLA and that it was the perfect city for this event. Most kept saying great food, nice people and easy to get around/everything centrally located.

Clemson fan here. We had a wonderful time. The LSU fans were great to us in the restaurants, bars and in the stadium. Many LSU fans approached us to welcome us to New Orleans and to wish us a good game. We were definitely outnumbered in the Garden District and Uptown restaurants and it was fun to experience the excitement of your fan base. Lots of impromptu cheering, etc. My group commented numerous times how great everyone was.

The shocker was the mob of drunk college kids during our 30 minute walk back after the game. It wasn’t cool seeing the trash talk/STTDB directed at easy targets like older folks and families with kids and it seemed every group that passed had something to say.

Overall the good definitely outweighed the bad and if you visit I hope you guys have a great experience in Clemson in 2025.

Yeah the college “frat guys” are always like that. But much better than normal home game.
I was wondering about the Terrace level situation but hell since you still had to pay 1000 bucks a ticket not like street scum should be everywhere
