A previous thread asked people to estimate how many season ticket holders came onto the Rant and my response was 20%. I would like to change that guess to closer to 1%. I am glad most ranters sit at home watching from the couch because there are some shithead fans on here. We had a great season in which we won the SEC, hosted a regional in which we went undefeated, and hosted a super regional which we took to 3 games and people on here are absurdly negative. Its rather pathetic that some people can feel no joy in their life unless LSU goes 14-0 in football and wins the CWS.

Just because we're pissed at the outcome of the series and tired of seeing the same mistakes over and over again doesn't mean we don't have any joy in our lives. Some (maybe many) LSU fans want to win it all every year and when we don't we want to bitch about it. If you don't like it don't read the threads or ignore it. No one is criticizing you for being satisfied with what happened tonight.
We played poorly tonight and Saturday. We didn't hit well and made many base running mistakes. I for one would have been fine if we had been competitive and still lost.
So excuse me if I'm a little fricking pissed right now. If you don't like it STFU.

Classy move by the fans. They are smart enough to know how impressive it is to be a no-name team and take a super in Alex Box. This is good for baseball IMO, a team from the NE near Manhattan can get a larger market to watch the sport. Obviously I would rather see LSU there no matter what. But Stony Brook still accomplished something amazing and they deserve respect for it.
