Anderson is in a great position at LSU. He'll be WR1 or WR2 in most instances. He's also 5' 8" and will have trouble finding a better situation than where he's at now. The road to the NFL will be the same wherever he goes so makes no sense for him to leave.

Feel bad that he never caught a TD

I don’t think the staff would be unprepared for this. My guess is this is an NIL play.
We’ll see though.

This kid was not what he was hyped up to be. Had solid hands, but didn’t look that great in person. Okay route runner, slow feet, and was never a deep threat. This is not a big deal. He is replaceable.
He fought injuries for a lot of the season. He has some really good talent, would expect if hes healthy next season to put up big numbers again. 2023 wasnt just a fluke for him. Take a look at liberty/Kaidon Salter with and without him from 2023 to 2024. Kaidon had a big regression.
Think Aaron Anderson from 2023 to 2024.

I’d have to assume he wanted uptick in money and some assurances that he was the #1 dude. BK definitely told him he wasn’t (he’s not a #1), and he left.
It sucks but if some of these former 5-star receivers can’t step the frick up in an average guy’s absence then we suck anyway. Sampson is going on year 3 and has done less than nothing

Not the attrition we want. That guy is a player and I expected him to really help us in 2025

Kelly eating his own words again... lmfao
Is this guy even involved with the players/staff? he is just so out of touch

Interesting move
CJ doesn't have a big NIL deal. This is his best chance to get one. If LSU wants him, they can buy him back.
Welcome to NIL.

Nah
If if makes you feel any better, it's CFB as we knew it falling apart.
Just the time following a particular team any more is too big of an investment for me.

I doubt this kid even wanted to enter the portal, he just needed to make sure he was getting his

just FYI for everyone. Entering the portal doesn't mean he is leaving. May be trying to get more money or may be seeing his options.
Yes, he may leave, but he also may come back.

Lol yeah I bet you did assume that... the delusion has been very fitting over the last 2 seasons

It’s interesting that this is always the take.
it's usually the right take. Very few players who have transferred out have gone on to be productive elsewhere. Only ones in recent memory I can think of have been Bech and Palmer. Losing Palmer wasn't a big deal because we were so deep at WR at the time.
