It was such an arse-whooping that even Nussmaier looked championship-ready when he entered the game. What a blowout.

Was Purdue that bad, or did they just look bad because of attrition?

Purdue was a good team that won a bad division, but lot of key opt outs made them look like a JV squad in that game. LSU with it’s opt outs still beats a full strength Purdue, but it would’ve been a much better game.

Strange games in the bowl season last year. Who would'f thought Georgia would annihilate a good TCU club in the NC game? That made me feel better about LSU's effort in the SECCG.

I don’t know anyone who didn’t think UGA would comfortably win that game. It felt like LSU vs Oklahoma in 2019.

The Big 12 is talented at the offensive skill positions but has far less overall talent and depth than the top SEC squads.

He threw a horrible interception in the end zone.

I remember that, but he had already throwed 3 TD passes and the Tigers were up 42-zip.

Was a fun game but let’s be real in saying it was just a glorified scrimmage.

LSU was quite literally 2 fluke plays and a terrible 4th down call from being in that ballgame. UGA still would have won but we moved the ball at will on them in the 2nd half.
