The ball went thru Hiltons on the last play against Ole Piss to win the game . He is very very inconsistent his hands eyes are out of sync . But that said he has talent and speed just has to put it all together.

Health has been his biggest obstacle in college. If he can stay healthy this year, he's poised for an incredible season. He's clearly gotten thicker which should help keep him available. The guy that beat West Monroe in the dome as a sophomore on a 75 yard tunnel screen is still there.

Have a feeling this will be his breakout season to become a name nationally, had a few cfb folks ask me who was our #17 in the college football game trailer

Can’t wait for the Hilton go route and a 70 yard bomb from nuss to be the first play and TD of the game against USC

Our WR group with the "NUSS BUS" arm, are going to blister the secondaries this year. Could you imagine being on defense and see Lacy, Daniels and Hilton lined up ready to burn your arse. With the OL protection giving Nuss all the time he needs. We could be looking at a 40+ per game year again. Cannot wait !

Hey Cell Phone, he'd have to be 7' tall to snag that ball. It was over his head and out of reach. Have your eyes checked. Soon.

Dude is going to have a lot of opportunities for deep balls this year. With Nuss airing it out look for Hilton to be close to leading the country in 40 yd catches. His speed is something spectacular. Really looking forward to watching the offense this year.

Chris Hilton had a breakout season last season. He didn’t have the stats because he had some all-world talent in front of him, but he put up film that would make him a 2nd/3rd round draft choice in this year’s draft, imo.
He has elite speed, excellent hands, adjusts well on the ball, and is strong and wins contact. I don’t know much about his route discipline, character or intelligence, but if those are all there he is a first round draft choice.

Best quote in that video:
"He catches hundreds of balls a day."
Keep catching them until you forget how to not catch them.

Chris Hilton is unproven. He has talent but at best he is a 7th round pick right now and probably practice squad IMO. He a has a lot to prove his season.
CJ Daniels is a 4-5 rounder right now.
Kyren Lacy is a 6-7th rounder.
Zavion Thomas is a 5-6 rounder.
I have no idea about the new guys but you have waaay undervalued Hilton and Lacy.

Hilton and Lacey are primed to have breakout seasons. They certainly have a QB who can get the ball to them.

LSU has 3-4 1st round talent WRs on the roster. Let's hope it all clicks this season.
LMAO. I want what you’re smoking.
We currently have don’t have any proven SEC-caliber starters at WR, much less any 1st round NFL draft picks. Not a single WR on our roster has proven to be NFL caliber or even SEC-starter caliber.
In fact, the stone-hard hands of Kyren Lacy and Chris Hilton have cost us several games over the last couple of seasons. Especially the 2023 Ole Miss game in Oxford when Chris Hilton dropped the game-winning touchdown pass as time expired.

Dude, no. Just no
I don’t know what football games you watched, but he proved none of those things last year. In fact, he was often a liability when in the game. See 2023 Ole Miss game ending.
This is a great example of not being able to be objective and take off the purple and gold glasses.

Clearly not a draft guy
PFF does not have one LSU WR in the top ten for the 2025 NFL draft. I was responding to a poster that LSU has 3-4 first round WRs. I know LSU has been blessed with first round WR talent the last few years but do you know how difficult it is to be a first round pick? Even if you are a top ten WR coming out of college into the NFL draft you still have less than a 50% chance of being a first rounder. LINK
Look, you could see when Chase and Malik stepped on the field as freshman they were dudes from the get go. Jefferson didn't hit as abruptly as Chase and Malik in terms of obvious first round talent but it did not take long. As for BJT, he came on a little slower in terms of route running and receiving but from a physicality stand point and his WR blocking he was elite from the get-go which kept him on the field.
So ask your self, does LSU have any WRs on the current roster as talented as Malik, Chase, Jefferson or BJT? That is first round WR talent.

Pff is frequently wrong
Lacy should be in the 3rd/4th round convo at receiver as of now just based off measurables, speed, and production.
With a great year he will be in that late first/2nd round convo.
As far as Chris Hilton, I've just never seen him perform to that level at lsu. Liked him coming our of high school but have been disappointed.
I think he is more of a north/south deep threat than he is a yac guy. Hopefully he has a good year. Great kid and teammate. Let's hope he stays.healthy and balls out.

Can Nuss help elevate these receivers to have monster years? Excited to see Lacy not dropping balls anymore, and Hilton has that big play threat. But excited for some of the younger guys like Sampson & Parker too.

I'm very high on Nuss so I say yes. Nuss will have a difficult decision to make at the end of the year to declare or come back. Right now Nuss is a third rounder. By the end of the year he has the potential to be a early second or late first rounder.
With that said I believe this offense is going to lean much more heavy on RBs with a slight uptick on the TEs and less so on the WR for offensive production. IMO by the end of the year Mason Taylor will work himself up to an early 3rd or late second round pick and NFL scouts will be drooling over Kelab Jackson (I know he won't be draft eligible until '26)..
