I usually like this guy but him hyping all the strange Clemson traditions was weird.
He also picked against us which I thought announcers couldn’t do? Herby always refrains from doing so

Right. I am not at all a fan of Fowler. Herbie came across much better last night in my view.

Well, they were playing at Clemson so usually that’s what happens, networks highlight home team stuff. Especially with them feeling the need to show the teams pregame tradition.
Also Fowler never makes a pick on any games. Desmond, Saban and McAfee all picked Clemson. Lee was the only LSU backer.

It sort of was, but in a way I sort of preferred seeing them focus on that versus the other pointless pregame bullshite the broadcasts typically do instead.
I sort of wish every broadcast would do this at every school. As goofy as so much of Clemson was, it was interesting to see nevertheless.

Kirk and Chris are the best in the business. Fowler always talks about how great LSU is. Dude was all in when LSU beat Alabama in OT on the flight home.

What is Chris Fowler’s job?? He’s supposed to talk about where they’re at. He’s supposed to try and hype it up. It’s about ratings. What do you think he should do?? Just say Clemson’s traditions are gay?? He can’t. He doesn’t get to put his personal beliefs out there when on the job. For goodness sake, you’re ranting just to rant. Chris Fowler is easily one of the best & by far the best host College Gameday has had. He’s also a fan of LSU. Not saying it’s his favorite school, but it’s probably his favorite place to call a game from.
Furthermore, CF most certainly didn’t make a pick.

Is he supposed to trash it on live television? Y'all get stirred up about the weirdest shite. I'm always relieved when those two are calling our games. They are the best you're going to get in college football. Would you rather listen to Gus fricking Johnson yelling at you the entire game? Give me Chris and Kirk all day long.

Fowler is a pro and one of the, if not the best CFB PBP men in the biz. Chemistry with Herbie is perfect. You know its big time when that crew shows up. I thought ESPN/ABC production last night was spot on.
