It’s literally just for the guys on the team. They treat it as a huge honor and regardless if it’s one or two, it still is a huge honor. Appreciate both while they’re here regardless... I think both guys are gonna ball out this year personally. Clark reminds me a lot of Beckwith, but I think he’s quicker to the ball. Curry is Mini Marshawn Lynch, dude seeks contact

18 is such an ugly number though.
7 should be the best player on the team

They wore 18 because it wasn’t a tradition, it was their preferred number choice. I don’t have a problem with the choices, just the idea that there needs to be someone from both offense and defense wearing it. You don’t see Ole Miss handing out two No. 38s every year.

I agree with this 110%. It should only be one person. The way it’s done now still eliminates the the kicker, holder and long snapper. At least when it went to one person on the team they had a chance to get chosen. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t ever think that one of those positions will ever be chosen to wear 18. But the way it is now, if you don’t play offense or defense you have no shot
