Yeah, I miss Hawthorne, he was legendary in my opinion. Chris is good at just calling the game but in an intense moment like this, he’s just average.

shitty call. He thought it was gone off the bat, then wasnt sure, which is crazy. Ruined a damn good moment

With as many warning track fly balls that were hit to center last night, one could hardly blame him.... but that ball was freaking touched

I remember listening to john fergerson calling football games and you could always picture the action. This guy just sucks. Even does not have that ability.

It’s almost like he wasn’t even watching it happen. I usually like Blair’s calls in baseball, think it’s his best sport. But that was not a good call

Lyn low key dropped an all time line

I don’t like Blair’s big calls. But when it comes to just listening to the game, I think he does a good job of keeping me understanding what’s going on and not making it about himself.

But that causes him to sound boring on big calls.

Let Blair do basketball, bring in someone new for football and baseball. He can’t call a football game, it’s awful

Agree with this. He doesn’t call football as it’s happening. He calls it basically when the play is over as if its real time. It sounds ridiculous because it doesn’t match the crowd noise.

He did the same bs on this call. He has to be 100% sure of what just happened before he says anything.

Just because he doesn’t get the occasional play wrong or get too excited when he shouldn’t doesn’t mean he’s just a pro and we’re lucky ti have him.
