It was fine. He was really dejected about the inning before, as we all were. So it wasn’t much until the ball cleared the fence.

You’re correct…I wouldn’t call him bad. In my opinion he’s just very…Midwest maybe???
I have no idea where he’s from, and he has what you would expect from a radio voice…smooth.
However to me it just seems to lack emotion to me. Maybe after growing up with Jim on the call I’m just nostalgic for his emotional calls.
Idk, but I agree, not his biggest fan.

I was playing golf at camp creek listening to the game

I listened live and was excited for the play but underwhelmed by the call. I was way more excited and animated than he was.

Seems like a great guy but I’m not a huge fan. He really fails to paint a picture during games for all sports. While listening, I want to at least partially imagine what is going on. He just doesn’t paint good pictures.
