I've seen LSU play in Connecticut, Idaho, and Indiana. My guess is most here couldn't claim one. But that probably just means they didn't have the ability to do it. Stop. Doesn't make anyone less of a fan

We only geaux to the games that the ticket prices are so high that you can't afford them, and then yell our heads off to the point of laryngitis so the you may enjoy the roar of the crowd on your Vizio at home.

Am I doing this right or do I need to go to more games to qualify?

This would have been an interesting thread if the OP hadn't set the tone that a fan who doesn't travel is somehow lesser than one who does.

I'm sure there are lots of fans who have never been to a road game and still love LSU. Why not just ask the question, why?

Or better yet, just askmwhat are the most interesting trips people have been on. What does it matter whether they have been to a road game or not? It has nothing to do with how much they love LSU.

How someone chooses to spend their vacations is not at all indicative of what level of fan they are.

I drove 8 hours after work from Dallas on a Friday night to get to Baton Rouge last year for the Bama game, but I guess I'm not a real fan since it wasn't an away game.

Does traveling from my bedroom to my living room to turn on the game count?

I'm a very anxious guy in large events. Everything gets me - can't get into large stadiums/crowds without having anxiety issues. It's one of those military/anti-terrorism things... doesn't freeze me, but I get pissed off and can't enjoy myself. For LSU games I want to enjoy myself, not sit there thinking "where's the best place to get out" "is that guy a threat" "is security capable of doing anything" "is she a threat" "what is available here to use as a tourniquet" "is that an object under that guy's coat" "oh hey we scored"

I've traveled to Fayetteville to see LSU from central Oklahoma. If you can ever convince the Sooners or Okie State to schedule a home game against LSU (which you won't, by the way, because they're skeered) then you'll see me there.

Until then...

I'm an LSU fan who has only been to 1 basketball game (first Chris Jackson home game) and 1 football game (my Tulane fan cousin took my wife and I to LSU/Tulane) and we sat in the top row right after the first addition to Tiger stadium.
Doesn't make me any less of a fan. I attended UNO, not LSU. But since my early teens I've followed LSU athletics very closely. Used to listen to Dale Brown's teams play on the radio when the games weren't televised. Same with Bertman's teams. My son will be attending LSU after next year, so I'm sure I'll go to a few games with him once he's there, but in general I prefer to watch sports on TV rather than in person.

kind of a weird way to shite on your own fans

So true...usually LSU people tend to shite on their own team, coaches, and players - not their fellow fans.

Check in here if you are an LSU fan who has never traveled to see LSU play
by kjntgr

FIFY

Are you a fan who:

HASN'T HAD THE OPPORTUNITY DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES, IS NOT FINANCIALLY ABLE TO, IS NOT HEALTHY ENOUGH, DOESN'T LIVE IN THE U.S., WORKS ON SATURDAYS, HAS HAD LIFE EVENTS THAT PRECLUDE HIM FROM TRAVEL, DOES NOT OR CANNOT FLY, DOES NOT OR CANNOT DRIVE, CANNOT TAKE THE TIME OFF FROM WORK OR CANNOT SCHEDULE TIME OFF.........
to see LSU play in other areas of the country?

FIFY.

Don't """""""""""""" E V E R """""""""""""""
use the term """doesn't care enough""""" in the same sentence with LSU fans.

And you don't strike me as an LSU 'fan' that
"""cares enough.""""

How 'bout that ??????????
