I went to a lot of away games when I was actually in school there. I don't go anymore; real life work and shite sucks.

If you've never traveled to see LSU play, it's hard to believe you're an LSU fan. Oxford and Starkville aren't serious road trips. Tuscaloosa and Auburn aren't far. I can understand if you don't make lots of road trips, but never? No.

I don't even bother with home games anymore. Every game is on tv. Now downvote away

Well, the Tigers have played in Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, Florida, Wisconsin, Arizona, West Virginia, Washington, and Kentucky fairly recently. That doesn't include Indiana and California and South Carolina for us older guys. One or more would have been reasonable trips.

This is a horrible way to judge someone's fandom. I have travelled to games because I had the opportunity to. Some people just don't have that opportunity to travel. Doesn't make them any less of a fan.

I don't understand how people can say they prefer to watch games on TV? I made the short drive over from Sydney a couple years back just to catch a game and it was easily one of the best experiences of my life!

So you are implying that since you travel to go see LSU play, regardless of someone else's personal circumstances, that you are a bigger fan than they are? This is the dumbest thread I've seen in a while and you're an idiot. I can almost guarantee you I'm a bigger LSU fan than you just by you starting this dumbass thread, like you're trying to earn/pay you're way into being a bigger fan. Lol. By the way I've been to omaha 3 times and saw morris hit the homer with my own eyes, been to a few sec road games too...that doesn't make me any bigger of a fan than anyone else who didn't have the opportunity to do so.

Can you be considered a real LSU fan if you didn't attend LSU? That has nothing to do with how big of a fan you are. Some people are able to travel some are not.
