To me one of the reasons that Chavis left LSU is that he knew that his lack of recruiting was going to catch up with him. If Beckwith (who might play in the NFL) leaves early, who do we have to play linebacker next year? Remember, Jones and Louis graduate. Exactly, we have nothing. Our defensive line really only has two quality people, Godchaux and potentially Key. The rest are average at best. We better recruit like hell this year in terms of DL and LB.

The funny thing is he went there for scoring and now their scoring is down.. And ours is up.

I am kind of tired about hearing of Chavis though..

He's gone. Don't care why he left. Happy he did and I don't know why people can't move on from him.

Chavis left because he was tired of getting the blame for losing the lead when our offense could not seal the deal.

If we expect to win a championship next year, Beckwith is the biggest recruiting battle we have on the table.

Do you follow recruiting at all?

We have one of the best tackles in the nation coming, and a bunch of 4* D Linemen and a 4* and 3* Linebackers

Looking at the state of recruiting on our front seven I'd say you're wrong. I wouldn't want Chavis back, even if he hadn't handled his departure as poorly as he did.

Ogeron is coaching his arse off - it's the only thing keeping them competitive.

After learning how it all went down, I agree 100%.

Chavis left bc he wanted guaranteed money. He obviously didn't think Les' job is as secure as we do.
