Why did Bama get a pass from the SEC when they actually played a former NBA player? He signed an NBA contract so according to the SEC, he’s a professional player. A judge then ruled him ineligible and he was removed from the Alabama team.
A judge ruled the football players eligible and that they could play but LSU decided not to even put them on their roster.
What’s the difference??

Exactly. It seems like they’re targeting LSU and LSU only because of Lane Kiffin.

We took the SEC to court and embarrassed them. That’s the main reason this is happening. We took their power away and they are pissed. We put their president on the stand and embarrassed him in front of the world.
I’m surprised they didn’t put a hit out on the LSU leadership.

I know that. But that’s not the perception. Everyone has always seen this as an SEC versus LSU thing. That’s why they’re suing us. Whether it’s our fault or not. It’s our fault to them.
I don’t know what happened behind the scenes in all of this. But for some reason, they think we are behind all of it.

The Bediako situation is egregiously worse. That’s why the SEC has no leg to stand on because LSU/Defense will show a court this case and the SEC will lose horrendously.

LSU didn’t take the SEC to court. LSU was included in the players lawsuit against the NCAA and the SEC

They think what happened in court is LSUs fault. I can tell you that none of the other players brought the sec to court. Only the Louisiana players. In the other cases it was just the ncaa involved. Whether it’s the secs fault they got involved or not, they are not liking what happened to them in the Louisiana court.
