When our QB has 2 seconds (or less) to throw…it’s not on him.

Last time I checked, the head coach is in charge of building the football team. Through recruiting and coaching.
He hasn’t recruited well enough, he hasn’t built the team or coaching staff well enough. He hasn’t coached well enough.
The team is indisciplined. From the 1st LSU game he coached to this last game. Mistakes and penalties at critical times. The defense is embarrassing. The O Line isn’t good enough.
That’s the definition of the head coaching job. He has failed in his role as head coach.

Do you not think Joe was "under pressure" when he was sacked 38 times? How dense are you?
Nuss has no idea how to step up in the pocket. He's afraid to be hit, so he makes terrible decisions like throwing off his back foot or throwing the ball into double or triple coverage instead of taking the sack. The fumble last week was because he tried to escape and had terrible ball security.
It's time to move on.

It used to be his downfield passing was bad...but he's regressed so much he can barley hit a checkdown now....no run game, horrible footwork and mechanics, no checkdowns or down field..terrible decision making and coaches saying the playbook has needed to ve reduced
I literally can't name one positive ogmf this guy's game

He has more time then that
Half of the sacks are from him holding too long

This just all feels like a playground to all these kids. Including Nuss. He doesn’t fricking care. If the QB doesn’t care, nobody does.

It's evident by his trash arse deep passes
Never seen a QB miss so many deep passes, and then keep trying to hit them.

Reading these replies, it feels like the best path forward is to cook a good gumbo, enjoy these few cold weeks, and hope for a better season next year…

He hasn’t been great but our vaunted offensive line has him running for his life
But how many times does he give ground instead of stepping up in gne pocket. A lot of those pressure would be nullified.
The one time he did as a TD to Anderson. Nuss is his own problem. Line play has been adequate especially in the pass game

He’s definitely a huge part of the problem

There is a lot that us wrong with the offense. The play calling has been questionable at times. Nuss holds the ball too long. His downfield throws are horrible. There are too many drops. He backpedals too much and never sets his feet. His best throws tonight were when he got the ball out quick on out routes or stepping into the pocket to throw.
BK has proven he can develop a QB. Look at Daniels and his progression from the Tennessee game in 22 to end of year and to what he did in 23. Can Nuss progress like that? Maybe but in Daniels first year and even Burrow year toward the end there was a sign of things showing there was improvement.
Nuss has not shown that. I think the system is not for him. This system relies on a QB that the defense has to account for with his arms and legs. Nuss rarely runs except when absolute necessary.

Change the subject. This is on the OFFENSIVE LINE.

Not exactly. Our center and LG have him running for his life. 3 guys can’t block 4-6 people. The center has been an issue since game 1 but when you add another guy that is clueless it’s hard for the other 3 to make up for the two that can’t block me or you. And can we please stop with the “William’s is in for his blocking” because he whiffed on a half dozen blocks tonight.

He has some of the worst IQ and pocket awareness you’ll ever see in high level football. He doesn’t understand how to maneuver in the pocket.
He also cannot throw over 15yds. He routinely overthrows deep. He throws high on just a bit every pass from 8-15.
This is on him.

There is no pocket to step into. This middle o-line is getting destroyed
