Chadd Scott ripping Les Miles' Trip to Cuba

I thought the point of his trip was to help kids and hand out shoes/footballs/soccer balls?
I havnt seen or heard anything of him doing anything related to the castros. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think this guy is ripping Les for something where he is trying to do some good.

Its easy to say when you are in the US and not suffering in Cuba. Yea Castro is shitty, but this will still result in a better life for the people of Cuba.

While agree to a degree there was this middle thing. I don't think we have to worry about that anymore though.

Those Americans who go to countries that still have the regime that enslaved and murdered their own people, and who are sworn enemies of America, are fair game for criticism. It is natural that this might ruffle the feathers of those who had family members murdered or persecuted. Les is a big boy, and should not be immune to such criticism just because he's our big , goofy Football Daddy and we love him.
That said, at some point people need to move on. Mrs Pimp , having had her family's life ruined, property seized, family members imprisoned, etc by the Communists in Vietnam, chooses to move on. We sponsor food drives and encourage visits because we sympathize with the poverty of the Vietnamese people. But we understand that others may feel differently and that their position has it's undeniable merits.

I don't agree with the President going to Cuba and embracing the communist dictator, but I absolutely agree with stopping the embargo and allowing american's to vacation in Cuba. The way you beat communism is to expose their citizens to the life and experiences in western culture. I believe trips like those of Miles and others to Cuba will help at both the local level of where they visit, as well as for the life of all the citizens of Cuba through exposure of the western life style. I know Miles is not politically motivated so that is my number one reason to hate people like Chadd Scott. Miles is doing this solely for the humanitarian effort.

I was about to say something similar. He acts like Miles is about to go play golf with a Castro or something. Miles is there for the kids and possibly baseball. No need for all the fake outrage people have. Nowadays people just love to have something to get mad at and complain about.
