11 and 12 are null and void. They are basically taking the top ten with these two oddballs thrown as a pacifier.

Agree with those hoping OU goes ham in Round 1. I'm curious whether OM comes out flat and lets Tulane hang around.

BAMA has more than one a-hole.

They should have put Vandy in over Bama.

Head-to-head matters, that's why ND is out and Miami in.

Bama beat Vandy handily.

As long as the Group of 5 is included, some deserving team will be left out.

Notre Dame needs to join a conference and win it to be a lock. They did this to themselves and took all of the money last year and not sharing it bc of no conference.

So, as usual Bama gets a doover and a chance in the playoffs as NO 3 loss team but Bama gets in.

Texas says hello. This needs to be fixed as well as the xfer portal and NIL. Buck Fama !

Notre Dame having a temper tantrum and declining any bowl game.

Perhaps they should have put the energy into defeating Miami.

As much as I clown on Backdoor Alabama, it would be unfair to leave them out.

Imagine if that was LSU...

Since they aren't going to punish teams for playing in their team's championship games, then the only teams that can benefit from a conference championship game is a team that is not in the CFP before the game. It seems a team may be able to convince the CFP voters to let them in, but can't drop them out, for fear of causing future opt outs. This however diminishes the value of conference championship games, and I think they will ultimately be phased out for the power conferences.

So, a team could play as many as 5 post season games?

Prepare for some serious opt-outs if this continues in future years. Why would a top ten draft pick risk this???

Expand to 20 teams, with the bottom 8 seeds playing for a spot in the 16-team bracket. Let Vegas decide the seeding. I don't think anyone could argue with those results.

Looks good, I agree.
Would also like to see no early round rematches and spreading out all same conference teams to prevent early SEC vs SEC match ups.

Know what would solve the issue for teams like vandy not getting in despite being better than teams like Tulane? Here me out ready for this?

16 team playoffs. Yea that should do it. That way we’re not leaving out anyone that deserves to be in it.

… lord help me, i am not defending bama… but they did have the top of the list in all of the metrics like sos, v.top25, v.top5, v.top10, etc… and, they did get to the sec champ game… and me being a bloody frothing at the mouth lsu tiger fan… i will take sec over anybody/everybody!!!… and the committee did give bama credit for being at the top of all of those metrics… as we all know, football season in the sec is survival of the fittest…we all beat ourselves to a pulp, and half the time, sec schools loose their bowl game because they are worn out from the sec football season… hmmmm… what am i forgetting… hmmmm… oh, yeah… …!!!GEAUXTIGERS!!!… …

Are they really, REALLY trying to say that James Madison and Tulane are better and more deserving than Vandy?

Even bama doesn't deserve the spot over Vandy

The same thing was said with the 4 team playoff. “If you’re 5th you don’t really have an argument anyway.”

Every time you expand the number of teams with an argument to be included increases exponentially.
