Holy smoke, I forgot about Jimmy Taylor. I think he’s in the NFL HOF!

Clyde really benefited from the new type offense.
As good as Clyde was, I think Guice would have been an absolute monster.

Domanick Davis would have really thrived in this offense too IMO

In no way am I suggesting the RB I’m about to mention is an all-time great, but I sometimes wonder how good Cecil the Diesel might have been if he hadn’t broken his leg.
Dormitory stalking didn’t help either...

Faulk had trouble in big games because of team and offense he played in. Can you imagine him catching passes in this off and running ball out of set CEH ran out of.

CEH played 15 games.
During Faulk's era, it was 11 games season.
True enough, but they also carried the ball more. Clyde has more YPC than Faulk. CEH had 215 caries this year in 15 games.
Only #4 hill with 203 carries and #5 Guice at 183 carries have fewer carries in the top 10. Faulk’s two were 229 carries and 248 carries.

Most clutch?
1. Hellaire.
2. Addai
3. Hester
4. Hill

He did have the benefit of playing in 2 more games than these guys though
Yet had fewer carries than all but hill and guice.

97 or 98 Faulk on the 2019 offense is crazy to think about. Still, CEH holds his own even against even Faulk when I think about the Bama game. His will to get into the end zone that game... Legend

I'm not going to rank him against others. Instead, I would simply say: Top Tier.
You can argue and rant that somebody ran for more yards, somebody got more TDs, somebody was more of the total offensive scheme.
Doesn't take away from this: Acknowledged starter on undefeated national championship team.
Games of note:
Texas: 15 carries, 87 yds, TD
Vanderbilt: 14 carries, 106 yds, TD
Florida: 13 carries, 134 yds, 2 TD
Auburn: 26 carries, 136 yds, TD, 7 catches 51 yds
Alabama: 20 carries 103 yds 3 TD, 9 catches 77 yds 1 TD
Ole Miss: 23 carries 173 yds TD
Arkansas: 6 carries 188 yds (31.3 yd average ) 3 TD, 7 catches 63 yds
A&M: 18 carries 87 yds TD
UGA: 15 carries 57 yds, 7 catches 61 yds
Clemson: 16 carries 110 yds, 5 catches 55 yds
Those are either conference games or ranked matchups (at the time), and he produced in a big way in each (the UGA game might seem low, but remember that was the SEC championship, against a team that didn't allow a rushing TD until the bowl game. He ended up with over 100 all-purpose yds against them).
Look at that stretch against Florida/Auburn/Alabama... if you can do THAT, against THOSE teams, you're going to make my list as Top Tier.

CEH rushed for over 100 against A1abama and avenged L8U he is the white wolf..king of the runningbacks
Posted on 1/17/20 at 10:21 pm to msizzle08
real answer is he's a 2-3 round guy.
extra real answer: Patriots will snag him in the 5-7 round and win 3 Superbowls on his back
EDIT: he's a STUD

#1 in terms of determination.
Fournette and Guice had some great plays. but sometimes those seemingly impossible 5 - 10 yard gains (see Alabama) are more important than those 70 yard broken plays
