I’m optimistic about JD and what he can bring to the team this year. A full offseason with the WR’s and the same OC should make him more comfortable in the passing game.

Jayden obviously was great for that three game stretch, was sick against Arky in a cold environment, and had the best rushing season for a QB at LSU.
On the other hand, he took a ridiculous amount of sacks, definitely had issues finding open receivers, and hesitated a lot, presumably afraid to turn it over.
Hopefully he makes that second year jump in the same offense and has a great year.

that list is shite. Id put Daniels at 2 or 3.
No way in hell is Drake Maye, Nix or Jordan freaking Travis ahead of him.
Daniels has a better shot as a Heisman as those guys too.

Travis ended the year on a scorching hot streak. Nix is high because he’s experienced and in a true cupcake conference. I like Daniels, but I think he’s fairly placed at this point. Travis is a very good QB.

I'll take another 80yd game as long as he beats Bama again. You guys act like LSU has been a school known for elite QB play. We are lucky to have this kid as LSU's QB. Many of you are spoiled because of Burrow but there were too many of Brandon Harris, Danny Etlings, Andrew Hatch, Jennings......

Rohan and Jamarcus had PLENTY of headwinds to overcome at LSU that their predecessors did not. in time, they overcame that sentiment.
Neither of those guys would have enjoyed the loud, over exuberant hype that Nuss has captured with his checkered appearances.

vs. UF JD wins a Heisman and a national championship. He was aggressive and trusted his receivers enough to throw 1v1. Most of the rest of the season he was mediocre at best, terrible at times, passing, while brilliant as a runner.
