It’s easier to win a National championship in football than baseball. If Kelly wins at the same clip as Maineiri I guarantee he will win more than one National championship.

the only thing he has done so far is bring frank wilson back fire tommy moffit, and try way too hard to fit in.
May feel better once a single play caller is named but that remains to be seen.

Saban has warped so many CFB fans' minds, none more than our own. How is averaging 10-11 wins every year in the SECW not elite? Are you seriously asking if that's worth it? 
If you win 10-11 every year, that means you're a player in the conference title and playoff hunt every year. Of course you take that. Were you expecting us to hire someone where we go 15-0 every damn year? Not even Saban does that.

Exactly. People’s expectations are so out of whack due to what Saban has done at Bama and the fact that he was here first. There are so many programs that were powerhouses under certain coaches that never saw that success again. Bobby Bowden built a powerhouse at Florida State yet only saw two titles in a lengthy career.
Miles’ run of 7 10+ win seasons in 11 years with two title game appearances and one championship was stellar, yet fans just want to ridicule him.

I don't agree with the premise of the OP, but what he's describing is the Les Miles tenure. 7/11 seasons of 10+ wins and 1 NC.
Ed can be removed from that narrative due to 2 seasons straight driving the team off the cliff.
