I remember looking up who the guy was for Les. His name was Dean Dingman and he was a 4 year starter at Michigan, has a degree in sports management and was a former sports agent.
Even Les found a guy that was at least highly qualified on paper…no idea if he was ever worth a shite but at least he didn’t come from radio

I never heard about him until after Les Miles got fired. College Gameday and other big time programs would interview or get quotes from Derek P. It blew my mind.

Dingman was not well liked but qualified, he also had no input on coaching hires, etc

Is that the story where Reece texted Scott Woodward or the LSU administration and was like who the hell is he telling me how to do my job telling him what questions to ask and not ask coach O and what to say about the program.
