I think the thing most of the left was missing in that story was the meme wasn’t about Holly Rowe, it was poking fun at Sark and escalating his response to a crazy level. But of course they want to make themselves the center of everything.

Reminds me of the Virginia Tech fake rape culture. Just because it was made up and never happened doesn't mean we shouldn't have to apologize and assume responsibility for a problem that someone made up in their head and Rolling Stone used as bait to sell magazines
