Can we all agree Ben Simmons was a cancer to this team last year?

I've said it a million times but the kid was an absolute waste of a scholarship. I had a friend who was a trainer for the team last year and he told me Ben Simmons was the last person to show up to practice and the first one to leave. I think this team will be much better off without him and Timmy Q throwing temper tantrums at each other on the court.

I don't really understand the point of this thread. The kid has moved on. We have a new season and new team. It's time to move on people.

He's pointing out that everyone is writing off this team - They say if JJ lost with Ben Simmons, then there is no way he can win without him. LSU will win.

I totally disagree. Ben wasn't a cancer at all. The cancer was Quarterman

Besides, I would say everyone was responsible for that mess last season. LSU just did not know how to handle it from the start. Not like a Duke or Kentucky would have. Johnny Jones had no control over the situation whatsoever. And you had players on the team jealous of Simmons and wanted the attention that he was getting like obviously Quarterman, but some others to wished it was about them too. I'm sure Blakeney's head swelled some which is why he wanted to leave even though he was nowhere near being ready for NBA ball. But that's the pass, I wish LSU the best this season.

I posted truth also, though perhaps a bit sarcastic as is my nature. It bugged some and I had to take a brief timeout. I'm better for it and have more knowledge of where the lines are as a result.
