We are currently 29–24–1 in NCAA sanctioned bowl games, do you think I want us to be 29-25-1? Not to mention, Coach Cajun Kelly is currently 2-0 in bowl games for us. Without these 2 bowl games, we don’t finish the season with 10 wins.

I have heard there is a last NIL payment depending on playing the first half of bowl… smart if true… the opt outs looked terrible - seems far fewer opt outs now

I disagree. your "grand scheme of things" is different from mine. You should do whatever helps your grand scheme and I should do whatever helps mine.
So.. as a CFB fan I don't like it when players opt out because LSU doing well is my "grand scheme" in this situation. But if LSU players feel their future, personal opportunities are more important than LSU doing well, who am I to disagree.

Anyone getting NIL should have to play in bowls. You’re being paid to play LSUs games, play the games.
