Our defense has shown signs of improvement this year, offense has gone NOWHERE! Running game is pitiful.

I don’t know if firing O and starting from scratch is a good idea unless we hit a home run HC hire (which I doubt). The dude sucks but just want to be realistic here!

This place is a coordinator carousel and your answer is yet another coordinator?

Our last two coaches were Les Miles and Ed Orgeron. Both sub-par coaches but talented recruiters.

Both won national titles.

Those saying they need to be hall of fame coaches or “home run” hires are forgetting that LSU only needs a competent coach who can recruit to stay elite.

at this point we dont need a home run, even a marginally average HC is 1000x better then the dufus we have now.

its always said you could do worse then what you have now, but in this case that isnt true

ed has already said he was hiring his son right out of school to be part of the coaching staff to "learn on the job here" this is all you are going to get if you dont get rid of ed

No offensive coordinator worth a damn is signing on to a sinking ship that the players are about to abandon.

Youre basically asking if we need to add a new nav system to a boat with a hole in the hull.

No he had his chance to find an OC. He doesn’t get another try, Peetz was either going to work or fail

His son knows football and we are talking a support staff role. Nick Saban was a CB from Kent State.

There's no argument for keeping Orgeron.

No! We need to get him (our current OC) some experienced advice play calling. I said it during the game. Too much second guessing and trying to get the perfect protection. An experienced play caller with this kind of talent needs to be more aggressive ie pedal to the metal. Consecutive runs, stop overthinking. Less pressure/responsibility on the QB.

O has had to fire way too many assistants after just 1 season and you want him to have yet ANOTHER go at it? I'm down with getting a new OC because Peetz is in way over his head, but the person picking the next OC should be a new HC

No one with any credentials is going to come here. First of all, Orgeron does not respect his assistants, even someone as valuable as Aranda. Secondly, why hasn't Orgeron put in the time by attending clinics or just engaging with other professionals to learn at least the defensive side of the ball? The revolving door of coordinators has got to stop; it costs too much money. Don't you get tired of having your intelligence insulted by such comments as, " We're going to find new ways to block"? The man needs to be released before players begin to leave in droves, and people stop buying tickets. People will stop buying tickets; they did it during the Hallman years.
