Game was over less than 4 minutes left. Already up close to 20 pts. Kim didn't care about running up the score to 100. It's called sportsmanship. They already broke the Ncaa record. These ladies can score a lot of points.

There is an obvious difference between the teams LSU played earlier and Duke.

They scored 93 and won the game. I'd say we are in a good spot.

Because it's just added pressure for the team to try and reach 100 in every game. Why? That record is very superficial when winning each game is the main goal..I think she showed class, because easily they could have went over 100 again.

No it didn’t. Had Kim wanted to score 100 points I promise it would have been scored but with game winding down and up nearly 20 points, why do you need more points except to embarrass the home team. If the game was within 10 maybe 12, you keep on scoring. The game was over. As it turned out, I believe our girls were executing the plays Kim wanted late and did try to reach 100 by shooting out of control 3s. In the end they looked bad doing it and had they followed Kim’s plan to ice the game and score as the shot clock ran out they still might have reached that score. The girls didn’t play their best and still blew out a very good team.

She wasn’t running the score up on the “shite” teams. She was getting everyone valuable minutes and seeing which rotations work, and the only way to see who plays well with who only works if you’re not reining them in and letting them play.
She knows what she has now and there was no reason to run it up and keep some meaningless pressure (like 100 points) on her players.

In her post game PC, she said several times how much she respected Duke & its head coach. With 8 new players, exactly, her focus was on getting them valuable minutes.
