Can everyone on this board agree with this statement?

BK doesn’t have an excuse anymore. He has the talent + kids that he recruited. This is his year to show us his full and true potential. At the least, he should make the playoff. Wether you’re BK Ryder or Anti BK, this is the year and I’m not here to say championship or bust. But expectations should be to make a TWELVE team playoff.

People already thought that this year. It’s without question true for next year.
But you can bet your arse some people on here will find a way to spin a positive Kelly narrative even if he goes 6-6 next year

Only thing this board ever agreed on was Joe Burrow is a really good QB, and even then you still had a few trolls stirring the pot.

With the time recruiting and what he has done in the portal then it’s definitely his team now. Plus having an experienced QB coming back eliminates a lot of excuses. Having consistency with coaching staff will help as well. Although still not convinced that we won’t see a change in OC after the bowl. So ultimately it will come down to chemistry and health.

We really are a few injuries away from having several depleted position groups but that goes for every team in the country now. So, I do think there is an excuse butvI want to see some young defensive kids develop under Kelly. I haven't really seen that on par with other other schools.

-on top of all that, lose Harold Perkins to injury
It wasn’t a huge surprise LSU didn’t make the playoff in 2024. It would have been more surprising had we made the playoffs, and even with all the above we actually still could have by winning 2 of 3 games against USC/A&M/Florida. We let those games get away from us.
I do agree with OP that we need to make the playoff in 2025 season. The pieces are in place, maybe save safety which is hopefully coming.
It’s time to take the next step.

You don’t have to wear p&g shades to realize that getting embarrassed by a&m with a first year head coach, getting extremely embarrassed at home by bama and a first year head coach, and losing to Billy fricking Napier is not acceptable.
It is crazy how some of yall can’t accept how bad the 4 losses were this year. Each one was unacceptable for its own reasons.
