I honestly like him better on the edge. We need a coverage LB in that spot. They gonna come out slingin it. I thought about Stevens in that spot. Tweener with good cover skills but can wrap up too.

ETA: if they wanna go 2 tight and 2 back and grind it out and run it right at us for a half I’m TOTALLY fine with that.

It is not just D White's physical skills. HE LITERALLY calls the Defensive plays according to what the offense is showing him. He is the play caller of the defense.

THAT is what is going to hurt as much as his physical presence. His football IQ is going to be sorely missed.

Jocoby Stevens would fit just rite at that spot.. He’s big fast and can cover and he’s a mismatch against olineman when blitzing... we have to match speed with speed.. Let him spy on Tua and blitz.. This game is about matchups

Jacob Phillips takes over whites spot and another guy be it Stevens or Divinity will occupy his spot. Anthony and Ray Thornton will be coming off the edge.

I'm not sure, but he definitely has the size to be a MLB.

Queen is a beast. Why does no one have confidence in him?

So little confidence that you think it's a better idea to have someone who's never played the MLB position to play it instead of him.

Honestly, watching Bama play, this might be the best move, and a blessing in disguise.

We'd never willingly pull our All American MLB off the field, but I doubt he's got the coverage skills a big safety like Stevens has. Bama's not the same old team they used to be, they're pass-happy now. We need pass rushers and coverage guys.

Queen looked insecure coming in for Devin.

Queen has all the tools, he is fast, he is smart, and physical. He is always were the ball is but he runs himself out of plays and over runs blitzs, i think all of this can be fixed in 2 weeks.. Everybody was raving about the kid after the Miami game... Let him ball

If Hurts was QB, I would say they would grind it out with the run and take advantage of LSU's somewhat shallow depth on the DL. Plus LSU run D hasn't been that great.

However, with Tua, I think they will be balanced. Maybe slightly more run because of the noise, but they have a real throwing QB now that is deadly. But saying this, I think the secondary is the best part of the LSU defense, so maybe Bama does attack with the run and burn clock and wear out the DL.

I know LSU must have success in the run game and burn the clock. The OL has to be lights out. Must have the run game to make the play action passes work.
