OK fans here in Athens, TX not nearly as confident. Most saying "at least we (OK) got to the playoffs"

I'm in a private OU Football Facebook Group.
The delusion is real. My daughter goes to OU, and so they accepted me to the group. I begrudgingly pull for OU since I send them money, but in this case, when I tell the OU fans facts, and that the SEC is just such a stronger conference because of the recruiting across the SEC, whereas in the Big 12 it's UT and OU that recruit well, and the rest lag far behind.
They just don't believe it, even when I show them recruiting stats. Serious head-in-sand disease is rampant among the OU faithful.
