Missed many plays because the shot was in the wrong spot or too tight so couldn't see the whole field.
Producer loved to show the crowd as a pitch was being made. And scenery in crowd wasn't exactly "view worthy".
Between this and J T Snow it seems like we got the bottom of the barrel in the broadcasting assignments. Guess they correctly assumed it would not be a competitive regional so why waste good talent on it.

Yeah it was a real amateur hour broadcast. It’s like ESPN was like “ehh that’s so far away. Send the Z team up there.”

They don’t give a frick. They just beat your team 26-1 in 18 innings of baseball.

My favorite shot was the behind the plate aerial view of a pitch. No idea whether it was close.

That stadium sucks. Full capacity is maybe slightly over 4,000. LSU gets more fans on a weekday game against Southeastern. You can't even see what pitchers are warming up.

Their stadium is tiny so their camera behind home plate is much closer to the field. Vandy's stadium has the same shitty camera angles.

What’s that area called? The area where the pitchers warm up?

I believe that this had an impact for the outcome on the field

In fairness there wasn’t much to look at. We got beat 26-1 in two games. They were actually doing us a favor

I don't get all the hate for J.T. Snow. I listened for most of the weekend, he brought in his own experiences, last night talking about how much he loved playing at Arizona and his team mates.

He talked about the pitching and seeing the ball, what was effective, what wasn't. He was forced out to the party deck by ESPN, that's on them, not on him. He knows the game and it showed.

Aneesh is pretty good, too, he didn't try to discuss things he didn't know about, at least that's how it seemed to me. Camera angles, it's the park, not much they can do about that. Now switching cameras, that's on ESPN and the producers. I'll agree with that.

Would have been nice for them to have more stock photography of Corvallis, though.

They were doing us a favor by not showing that game

This is your main complaint about the regional? Dumb.

This pisses me off so much. They do it ever time a team brings the infield in. You can't see shite when they do it.
