No. 2.

Wofford pitched their 3 in Game 1 vs LSU

Then the ace in loser's bracket game.

He hit 92 a few times against us. His velo was kind of all over but I think that was somewhat intentional. Kept people off balance

You’re right I shouldn’t text and drive. But you also knew I was referring to the catcher and let’s not dispute that he would be a great add.

If there's one thing I trust our pitching coaches with, it's this!

Also, '6"6 frame--can't teach that. He can be built into a machine

Solid acquisition. Always have faith in Jay Johnson. His press Conference yesterday was a complete change from his previous messages. He seemed pretty annoyed with the landscape of College Baseball being so heavily slighted toward transferring and not being based on Development in a program.

I like this kid, and agreed totally on JJ. He sounded yesterday, different than he has in any other time I’ve heard him speak

Love that. We need a good change up guy or 2. Going from a starter throwing 95 to a reliever with a nasty 78 mph changeup is extremely hard for hitters.

Is that the one that kept throwing that nasty changeup continuously?

He doesn't care about anything other than clicks and likes now. He's a joke.

If Maverick Rizy makes it to campus the pitching staff is gonna look like a basketball team getting off the bus!

He's supposed to be getting to campus soon to start school in the second summer session and begin working with the S&C coach. There is still some draft sweat, but that's very promising.

As were his two outings in the Futures League against college hitters.

I don’t like his stats against us very much. What was his stats for the season?

I’m trying to not get too ahead of my skis yet but I’m really excited about Rizy!

4.28 ERA / 17 appearances - 10 starts / 75 IP / 57 K's / .244 BA against

I don't think he'll ever be a starter here. Hopefully he can develop into a nice bullpen piece.

Bateman is 6-8. If you add Rizy 6-9 and Shores 6-8 you have the tallest pitching trio in baseball for sure.

As a freshman stat line that’s not bad at all. He got a lot of reps. He has a really good change up and a decent move to 1st, ask Jake Brown, lol
