A&M looks as complete as anyone. They're gonna be a problem in the SEC and could easily make the playoffs

I doubt it.

Any (or all) of those three teams might beat us.

I think we beat SCar and Vandy but the Aggies are concerning. If we beat Texas A&M it’ll be one of those magical close games in Death Valley.

I'd need to see either Nuss make serious improvements or MVB come in to believe this.

@Bama and @ OU scare me. Of course, per usual, LSU always get a Top 5 SOS in the country. We need Mateer to have a bad hand. 0 chance we win at Bama. At OU, if we have better QB play we can win. But as of right now from what I see on offense AND Mateer is healthy, I don't see us winning. Both of those things could change though.

It sucks we have @ OU and @ Bama end of season because the CFP committee is made up of dumb people, and dumb people ALWAYS have recency bias. There should be no bias on recency unless there was a major injury to a player like FSU 2023. 9-3 would be tough. I think a 9-3 SEC team has a chance this year, I just don't like how we'd have 2 losses in November in that scenario.

Aggie gets the benefit of the doubt this year due to not playing UGA, Tenn, Bama, Ole Piss, Oklahoma. I think they will he 10-2 or 9-3. We will beat them and possibly @Mizzou or @Texas

Here’s a question… say we go 3-0 in October, are we a shoe in to make the playoff, or better yet, would we deserve to make playoff even if you lost to bana and ou on road.

This is assuming wku and arky win and the only 2 games left to decide would be bama and OU.

If we go 3-0 my excitement would sure be there for a potential playoff spot

Pavia can run. We didn’t do well against Reed or Chambliss, both QBs who can run.

Our defense was on like field for 80% of the game last week because our offense couldn’t stay on the field for more than 30 seconds without giving it right back.

That's crazy. A&M is a much better team, esp on defense than Ole Miss. And, has been discussed previously, Ole Miss toyed with LSU and humiliated them. The 5-point margin of victory is an illusion.

Vandy played Alabama very evenly for 3 1/2 quarters. LSU isn't likely to go into Nashville after the Dores' true BWA and beat that team-- it could happen, but based on empirical evidence, it doesn't seem likely.

And 0-3,is not far fetched. Don’t think they can beat all three South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M.

I don't think losing to OU and Bama gets us in. Maybe if we lose just one of those games but win the rest, I think we're in. However something on offense has to change. Our d is good enough to win it all but no way with the current state of the offense.

LSU won’t win another game as long as Kelly is the coach.

I wonder if Nuss should go back to wearing #13 before the S. Carolina game? Just a crazy thought because since he started wearing #18 he just doesn’t look nearly as good or as confident as he used to…I’m not big on superstition but I don’t think it would do any harm! I’m also not trying to put our offensive problems on just Nussmeier either because it is a team game and Nuss needs everybody to do better on offense and that includes the Coaches…

I think so also, everyone so down right now and rightfully so but there are a ton of overrated teams this year. Parity is starting to show up with the transfer portal.

We're gonna have our hands full with Sellers.

I think most of you have already assumed a win, that's certainly foolish.

That game is coming down to the last drive. Hopefully we're the ones on defense to try to secure the win.
